Summary

With an audience of 30,000 users who require annual training to keep up with changing regulations, the clients needed an eLearning solution that could be easily maintained.

Fredrickson collaborated with Intertech on design and development of the solution: accessible web-based eLearning courses delivered via a custom learning management application. Fredrickson managed the project, designed the course structure and interface, developed the content, and created interactions and assessment content.

The course successfully translates often baffling regulatory and legal language into plain understandable English. In addition, a wealth of practical examples help users incorporate regulatory requirements into everyday job tasks.

Fredrickson also provides web hosting services for the live version of the course. Unlike many eLearning courses that are only taken by a few people at a time, these courses are often accessed by hundreds of users simultaneously, and they require servers that can meet the challenge.

Eventually, Fredrickson also assumed responsibility for maintaining both the courses and the learning management application, providing a single point of contact for the client.
