Cargill Animal Nutrition was developing a content management system (CMS) to support the many web sites developed to market its global products and services. As part of this effort, Cargill wanted to develop site templates that enforced consistency across sites, but also allowed for local expression. Fredrickson created a common navigation structure and page layout that reinforces its brand across countries. Within that common structure, each country can develop its own design elements and content. The result is a clear brand identity, custom-fit to each country’s unique culture and marketing goals.
Fredrickson also developed page templates for the two pilot businesses using the CMS:
Finally, we produced a web page content standards and guidelines manual for distribution to the individual businesses involved in the pilot. This manual was critical in helping the businesses understand and effectively utilize the new templates.
