Summary

Fredrickson Communications worked with ISEEK to refine the needs for the project.  The goals in working with ISEEK were to:

* Revise the information architecture to enhance usability.
* Rewrite the content to improve readability and consistency.

We conducted a comprehensive audience analysis to determine the most common scenarios for using the site. These scenarios formed the basis for a new user-centered navigation structure. An expandable/collapsible navigation panel and color-coded sections were developed to quickly guide users through these common scenarios. Hyperlinks within page content allow users to follow alternate threads outside the main navigation structure.

ISEEK is accessible to the vision-impaired and is available in Hmong, Spanish, and Somali. We wrote the content with ease of translation in mind and designed the navigation to be equally usable as a text-only display.
