Summary

Fredrickson provided a team to address usability, information architecture, visual design, and web content. We helped PLD meet its goals by:

  • Developing an information structure based on visitors’ goals.
  • Creating a clean, simple layout and presentation.
  • Reorganizing and revising content.

Using cascading style sheets (CSS) for both formatting and layout, we created a design that is fully accessible and forward-compatible. We also employed media-specific style sheets: one for the screen and another for the printer.
