As part of our mission to share information and support professionals who work in the areas of training, communications, usability, and technology, Fredrickson has founded several professional networking organizations. The mission of these groups is to foster peer-to-peer connections and to facilitate discussion of current topics of interest to the members.
About Intersect
The Intersect group provides a forum where communications and web professionals from the public sector can discuss topics pertinent to their roles and projects. With more and more interaction taking place on the web, it is essential that communications, training, and web technology professionals work together closely and understand more about each other’s roles, processes, and challenges. Yet organizational structures — often created in the pre-web era — sometimes prevent this from happening as easily as it should.
We formed Intersect in 2007 to help public-sector peers in IT and communications overcome challenges, discuss common issues, and learn from each other. The Intersect group meets quarterly. Join us!
Intersect membership requirements
Membership in Intersect is by invitation only. To keep the focus of the group on the needs of the professionals it serves, only those who are currently directly employed by a recognized public-sector entity, in an IT or communications role, are eligible for membership. Consultants, vendors, sales associates, and contractors are not eligible for membership in Intersect.
