The Twin Cities Community of the Society for Technical Communication (STC-TC) has given a 2008 Award of Excellence to the Park Nicollet Pandemic Influenza Preparedness at Work and at Home eLearning course. This course was designed and developed by Fredrickson Communications in partnership with Park Nicollet. The STC’s Award of Excellence is given to a course that “consistently meets high standards in all areas.”
The Pandemic Influenza Preparedness at Work and at Home eLearning course is a highly interactive experience that teaches health care professionals how to prepare for and react to a worldwide influenza outbreak. This course brings into focus both the workplace and personal implications of an outbreak. The course is designed to increase health care professionals’ knowledge and awareness of the rigorous demands that a flu pandemic would place on them.
At Fredrickson Communications we’re very proud of our role in helping our client create this award-winning course and we congratulate Park Nicollet and thank them for their partnership on this project. If you would like to see a demonstration of this course, please use the information on the Contact Us page to get in touch.
Formal presentation of the award will take place at the STC-TC awards ceremony on May 12, 2009. There is more information about the awards ceremony on their STC-TC’s website.
